Target groups
Nimmo is used by municipalities and county authorities to bring together and plan passenger transport – and by sports clubs, activity providers, transport operators and companies that want to offer shared transport.
The municipality is responsible for a lot of passenger transport, often spread across many departments. School transport, special needs transport, trips to day centres and needs-based transport to school and work training can be planned and followed up in Nimmo Planner. Drivers get the route and passenger list in the app.
Many municipalities also want to give residents a transport service that ensures participation – for young people to leisure activities, for older people to shops and meeting places, or as a supplement where public transport is sparse. The driving is done with the municipality's own vehicles and drivers, or by a transport operator.

Where fixed routes do not meet the need, on-demand transport can provide a better service at a lower cost. Set up regular routes with stops and times, or dynamic routes calculated from the bookings. Passengers book in the app and follow the trip on the map.
Nimmo uses Entur's format for route data.

Sports clubs, arts programmes, choirs and dance schools use Nimmo to make transport part of what they offer. Lack of transport can be a barrier to taking part, especially for children whose parents work shifts, families with several children and those without a car.
The municipality can offer transport across clubs and associations, or let clubs use municipal vehicles when they are not in use. Sports councils and regional sports federations can also use Nimmo for multiple clubs.

Bus and taxi companies use Nimmo as a booking platform and route planning tool when they drive for municipalities and county authorities, or when they want to offer shared transport as a new service.

Nimmo suits companies that want to organise shared transport for employees to and from work, between offices or to events – with a focus on sustainability and simple logistics.
