Today we held a webinar with 80 participants from 56 municipalities in Norway where we discussed various types of transport that municipalities are responsible for and how this can be done smarter, for example by using Nimmo to organize the transport.
Municipalities are responsible for parts of school transport, para transport, driving to day centers, and regulatory driving to schools and job training. In addition, many municipalities want to provide their residents with other types of transport options to ensure participation and inclusion in community life and activities.
In many municipalities, different sectors and departments work separately on their transport challenges, resulting in more resources being used than necessary, municipal vehicles standing still much of the time, and costs being higher than they need to be.
In the webinar, we demonstrated how easy it is to create routes in Nimmo Planner and how Nimmo Planner provides a good overview of the routes, bookings, vehicles, and drivers. We also showed the intuitive Nimmo app for booking and the driver app Nimmo Driver which gives drivers the driving route and an overview of passengers and stops.
The webinar concluded with a round of questions and discussion.
We thank everyone who participated for their great engagement, good questions, and much inspiration 🙌
