Code of Conduct for Drivers

As a driver for a transportation service using the Nimmo software platform, it is your responsibility to ensure that your passengers arrive safely and comfortably from the pickup location to the destination.

As a driver, it is your responsibility to:

Ensure that you have the correct driver's license and any other necessary permits to drive this type of transportation service.
Be fit to drive. This includes having sufficient rest time before starting a trip and not being affected by alcohol or other substances (including prescription medications that make you unfit to drive).
Comply with all applicable traffic rules and be a considerate driver.
Drive smoothly and comfortably so that passengers have a pleasant trip.
Use the Nimmo system as intended. Always log into your trip and follow the instructions in the system. If you are transporting children or the elderly, you must follow the relevant procedures. (See the Nimmo Driver user manual for more information.)
Follow any other procedures set up by those organizing the transportation.

During the Trips

Be polite and helpful. Greet each passenger and be prepared to answer any questions they may have.
Be safety-conscious. Remind passengers to use seat belts, and – if applicable – ensure that car seats/cushions are installed and used correctly, that wheelchairs are securely fastened, and that luggage is stored safely.

Confidentiality, Privacy, and Loyalty

Maintain confidentiality. Do not share information about passengers or guardians, agreements between parties involved in the transportation service, or any other information you become aware of in your role as a driver.
Be loyal to your employer, those organizing the transportation, and the Nimmo system and brand. Address any disagreements with your employer or those organizing the transportation.
Do not photograph your passengers without permission. Children cannot be photographed without permission from guardians.

Emergency Situations

In an emergency, always prioritize safety. Those organizing the transportation should have procedures for emergency contacts and other important information in emergencies.

During the Trips
